Reflecting on Eight Years of Campstuff Coffee at Deception Pass

As I sit down to write this, the smell of freshly brewed coffee fills the air, reminding me of those early mornings at Deception Pass State Park. It’s hard to believe, but Campstuff Coffee is about to embark on its eighth season. Eight years of sunrises over the bridge, countless cups of coffee shared, and connections made with people from all walks of life. It’s been a journey—one that started as a dream and has grown into something truly special.

When we first launched Campstuff Coffee, our vision was simple: to bring a great cup of coffee to one of the most beautiful places in the Pacific Northwest. Deception Pass, with its breathtaking views and rugged charm, has always been more than just a location for us. It’s a community, a meeting place, and a source of inspiration. To set up shop here, just steps away from the trails and the tidepools, felt like the perfect way to combine our love for the outdoors with our passion for coffee.

Over the years, we’ve seen a lot. We’ve served campers heading out for early hikes, kayakers gearing up for a day on the water, and families creating memories that will last a lifetime. We’ve weathered rainstorms, early-season chills, and the bustle of summer crowds. Through it all, one thing has remained constant: the joy of connecting with our customers over something as simple as a cup of coffee.

Running Campstuff Coffee isn’t just a business for us; it’s personal. It’s about creating an experience that enhances the magic of being outdoors. Whether it’s our signature Smore’s Mocha or a classic Americano, every cup is crafted with care and a touch of adventure. Our little corner of Deception Pass has become a place where people can pause, recharge, and soak in the moment.

This milestone season feels particularly meaningful as we look ahead to what’s next. We’ve got plans to expand our menu, introduce some new merchandise, and maybe even host a few community events. It’s all about continuing to grow while staying true to our roots. After all, Campstuff Coffee wouldn’t be what it is today without the incredible support of our customers and the community that surrounds us.

As we gear up for year eight, I can’t help but feel grateful. Grateful for the mornings spent setting up under the trees, for the conversations shared over steaming mugs, and for the chance to be a part of so many adventures. Thank you for making Campstuff Coffee a part of your journey. Here’s to another season of good coffee, great company, and the beauty of Deception Pass.

See you at the park!
